Currently residing in a peaceful part of Varmland in the Swedish countryside! We spend our time getting our hands dirty, making woodpiles, hunting snarks, eating moose meatballs, homemade bread, and horse sausage (I'm still trying to forgive myself for that one), solving puzzles,cutting the lawn with sythes, reading to each other, and taking plenty of coffee breaks all while keeping an eye out for trolls.

We said goodbye to California and have been enjoying a slower pace out here in our humble cottage by the sea. New England has been especially good to us. You can see James and Duke (a.k.a. Chowda Head) frolicking in the yard here. So far so good...

I'm famous in China!

OK, so this show actually airs in the US but targets the Chinese community (obvi) and therefore, I'm famous in China.
Here I am, discussing Chakras and Aveda products and hormones and what not. It's self-explanatory. Enjoy.

ponderings of the day, vol.1

1. did you ever stop to think about the word, "burrito"? little donkey. interesting choice.

2. i think people are wearing clothing that is generally much too small for their bodies. i've spent some time in airports recently and this is a scary truth, people. it is not flattering. something does not need to be as tight as your skin to "fit".

3. it's ok to have a drink at 11:38am on a thursday if you're on vacation, right? thought so.

4. why do we feel like we need to buy something that we normally wouldn't just because it's on sale? this seems like marketing trickery and it gets me (almost) every time.

5. what happened to heidi montag? i wonder how all of that plastic in her face is holding up. not that i care or anything.
